TRANSNASAL ZYGOMA 5 DAYS RESIDENCY is the international course with the highest number of DEMONSTRATIVE SURGERIES ON REAL PATIENTS, taught by Professor Vanderlim, creator of the Transnasal Implant technique (Vanderlim Technique).

 

TARGET AUDIENCE

This course is designed for professionals already specialized in implantology, in order to provide greater skill and knowledge to treat cases of maxillae with severe bone atrophy, dispensing the use of bone grafts, with less trauma, lower cost, and reducing treatment time.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The course is organized into 5 days, divided into the following stages:

 

THEORETICAL EXPOSITION
An immersion in theory will be carried out, addressing principles and concepts of dental implants, the various anchoring techniques, and main references that will support the course practice.

 

WORKSHOP WITH GUEST PROFESSORS
On the second day of the course, specialist professors with extensive experience in their areas will share their knowledge and experience, addressing prosthetic planning, surgical complications, conduct in a hospital environment, and the use of planning systems.

 

VIRTUAL SURGICAL PLANNING WITH SOFTWARE
Use of surgical planning software for simulation of surgery in a virtual environment, anticipating situations that may occur, which increases the predictability of the procedure, adding safety for the dentist at the time of surgery.

 

HANDS-ON WITH PROTOTYPES AND BIOMODELS
Participants will operate the planned cases on prototypes and also on biomodels, in a stage that precedes the operation on patients in the hospital.

 

CLINICAL PRACTICE ON REAL PATIENTS IN THE OPERATING ROOM
Practical moment of the journey, carried out in a hospital. There will be 6 surgeries performed on real patients, with active participation of students, who will be able to assist in the practice of the techniques, following the surgery performed by Professor Vanderlim. Simultaneous transmission on a high-definition screen is also provided for participants to follow.

 

CLOSING
Course completion ceremony, with confraternization and delivery of participation certificates.
