Professor Vanderlim is a Brazilian implantologist and creator of the transnasal implant technique, the Vanderlim Technique, developed as an alternative to the double zygomatic implant placement when greater implant anchorage is needed in certain cases, thus simplifying the solution. It is a simpler, more predictable alternative, with less trauma and a lower possibility of treatment complications.

Professor Vanderlim is a speaker for SIN Implant System, Neodent, and Nobel Biocare, a postgraduate professor, an international lecturer, and specialized with Dr. Paulo Maló (Portugal) and Dr. Carlos Aparício (Spain), world authorities in ALL-ON-4 and zygomatic implants. He has taken courses in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Mexico. He also teaches a course on implant anchorage in atrophic maxillae, instructing dentists worldwide. His work as a speaker contributes to the dissemination of innovative techniques and the continuous improvement of dental professionals around the world.

He is the creator and organizer of the Transnasal Zygoma Residency, a practical course for specialists, where all anchorage techniques are presented for patients with bone atrophy without bone grafts. More than 400 dentists from around the world have already participated in this course, which excellently combines theory and practice: in addition to the theoretical component, hands-on sessions are conducted on biomodels and demonstrative surgeries are performed on real patients in the surgical center to accelerate the learning curve of the techniques covered. This provides students with a unique and immersive learning experience in the most advanced implantology techniques.

Professor Vanderlim is also the Director and Head Clinician at CIIPO, a leading dental clinic in southern Brazil. He is a specialist with over 30 years of experience and more than 72,000 implants.
